Detailed Description:
Many of us have systemically-imposed Imposter Syndrome, which shows up as an inner critic, a nasty little voice in our heads. When we listen to it, we can spiral into doubt or even depression, and we shrink back from exercising leadership where it’s needed most. But when we work with our inner voices, we can live into the creative, courageous vision that our world needs most today.
Rosi Greenberg offers a powerful new workshop to shift those inner voices to powerful allies.
Rosi uses storytelling and reflective exercises to enable participants to meet their own voices and find new ways of working with them. She leads us to see the systemic factors that create these inner voices, and point the critique at where it’s really needed in our world today. Most of all, Rosi facilitates powerful ‘aha’ moments of facing this phenomenon together in healing community, rather than alone.
In this workshop, participants will learn how to understand the origins of that critical internal voice, see its positive intent while saying NO to its negative impact, and offer themselves a new, more loving inner voice. Participants will gain practice in living into narratives of personal agency, and overcome the discomfort of being witnessed as powerful. They’ll leave with new perspectives and practices for relating to the critic, and additional steps to take to move forward in leadership.
This workshop draws on Rosi’s expertise in Adaptive Leadership, Internal Family Systems, and Public Narrative, as well as her lived experience and artistic talent. Rosi weaves together these frameworks in a uniquely engaging and participatory way.
This workshop offers both an experience of the material as well as a tool that educators, facilitators and counselors can use with others. This is intended as a multi-level training with the expectation that participants will take away useful insights for themselves as well as a framework, language, and specific tools to include in groups they lead.
Previous participants have shared:
"It was a life changing experience for me and for the 1st time in my life I learned how to set boundaries with that inner critic and that I was worthy and I've worked hard and I deserve the good things that happen to me." - Randy A, National Recovery Advocate
“Rosi's Live Into Leadership program helped me step into my own unique strengths. Once I was able to identify what my inner critic (born from societal/familial expectations) was telling me I *should* be doing, I was able to clearly see what I *could* be doing. It has helped me bring my whole, authentic self to the table.” - Lacey Connelly, Harvard
“Rosi is an amazing facilitator and leads the co-creation of a powerful space where I felt safely seen, held, and empowered to be my best vulnerable self. Gaining clarity around the inner critic really is a doorway into stepping into a powerful version of yourself. I've learned who my inner critic is, where it comes from, and how to build a healthier relationship with my inner critic, all while making beautiful connections in community. I have never felt as empowered, confident, capable, loved, and hopeful to continue authentically stepping up in my life and work.” - Dahlia Quintanilla
